About The Presenter

Dr. Amy Baeder is Director of the Project-Based Learning Network. A former science teacher, she is a full-time curriculum writer and PBL professional development expert. Dr. Baeder holds an EdD in Educational Leadership from the University of Washington, and the PBL units she has written are used in more than 50 countries around the world. 

 Dr. Amy Gaumer Erickson

Associate Research Professor, The University of Kansas

Dr. Amy Gaumer Erickson is an associate research professor at the University of Kansas and co-author of The Skills That Matter: Teaching Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Competencies in Any Classroom and Teaching Self-Regulation: Seventy-Five Instructional Activities to Foster Independent, Proactive Students. Gaumer Erickson has taught at the middle and high school levels in urban, suburban, charter, and alternative schools. Her practice-based research guides educators to embed intrapersonal and interpersonal instruction within content-area coursework.
